AT&T customers woke up this morning to a new weapon in their arsenal: the Motorola Moto X, the new smartphone from Google. But, it won't be AT&T exclusive for long (sorry fellas), because Motorola VP of Product Management Punit Soni has just hinted that the phone will be available for other carriers in just "days."

How many days? We don't know, yet. The phone will likely be made available to Verizon first, with Sprint and T-Mobile to follow shortly after. BUT (a big 'but' here), Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile customers won't be able to use Moto Maker to customize their Moto X phones like AT&T customers can, and there's no word how long the service will remain AT&T exclusive. There will be a developer version of the phone coming in a few days as well, which customers will be able to unlock if they pay full retail price for the phone. Also, a Google Play Edition of the Moto X will be coming out, probably soon after, which Google will probably sell directly themselves.

Is the Moto X hot enough to knock iPhone out of the park?
