48. Apple Introduces New Internet Strategy

Year: 2000

Looking to the future at the 2000 MacWorld conference, Steve Jobs announced a set of new tools that would allow Apple users to bring their Mac experience to the web. From this we got the Mac.com email service, online storage utility iDisk, and webpage builder HomePage. All of which was turned into the MobileMe cloud service in 2009, and then iCloud two years later.
