Currently, Netflix subscribers can only stream two movies or TV shows at the same time from different devices. But thanks to a forthcoming family plan, they'll be able to stream up to four.
The so-called family plan will cost $11.99 per month, CEO Reed Hastings announced on Monday, and the company expects fewer than 1% of its members to take advantage. For anyone sharing their Netflix credentials the plan is still a net positive, so long as you're willing to deal with the recommendations stemming from their viewing habits, as The Verge points out.
