It's time to switch out the old plasma screen that you think is thin for something revolutionary. The 2013 Philips DesignLine television is as thin as a sheet of glass (46-inch and 55-inch screen options).
Buyers can choose to lean, hang or stand their television sets against a wall. The Smart T.V. features 1400 Hz Perfect Motion Rate, full HD 3D capabilities, dual-core processor, micro-dimming and local contrast, plus built-in Wi-Fi, according to GizMag.
The "frameless sheet of glass" makes it so the device can hang in your home like art, according to Philips UK. When turned off, the screen displays a gradient black finish from top to bottom (dark to light).
The television set will be available in Europe and Russia this year. There's still no word about a U.S. release yet.
