A Steel and Glass Cage in the Wilderness Keeps this Man From Being Eaten by a Polar Bear (Video)

Forget shark cages— the BBC's Gordon Buchanan squared off with a polar bear in the arctic with only a perspex enclosure standing between him and certain death by ice-hardened claws. The bear swiped and rattled the cage for 40 minutes, while Buchanan captured gripping footage from inside with a GoPro camera. The above clip comes courtesy of the upcoming BBC special The Polar Bear Family and Me.
