Research in Motion (RIM) hasn't had the best couple of years. The company's long-awaited BlackBerry 10 platform was supposed to launch at the top of 2012, but was pushed back to the third quarter. When the third quarter finally rolled around, RIM announced that it had pushed the release date back to early 2013. What's more, analyst Peter Misek said that even if BlackBerry 10 is announced in January, the devices won't be available until March 2013. RIM must have figured something out, because the company now says the devices will be launched in January. We hope so.
