Instagram today rolled out a new feature that will make it easier for you to share your images with your Twitter followers.
"It can be cumbersome sharing a photo to Twitter and @mentioning someone whose Twitter username is different from their Instagram username," Instagram wrote on it blog. "Today, we’ve rolled out a change that will make sharing to Twitter more seamless."
From now on, when you go to tweet a photo that you published on Instagram, all the people connected with the photo will automatically have their Instagram names translated to their Twitter handles.
This is good for those times when you want to tweet a photo with other people in it but their Twitter handle is different from their Instagram name.
This will only work if the person has their Instagram connected to Twitter. If those that don't, the person's Instagram name will remain on the photo, but not in the tweet.
