See What's Inside the New Google Nexus 7 Tablet

Whenever there's a big product release, you can count on the crew at iFixit.com to get one, crack it open, and let you see what makes it tick. So it goes with Google's Nexus 7 tablet. When cracked open, the iFixit team found it to be pretty serviceable, especially when compared to the nearly impenetrable iPad. Tinkerers will be happy to find Philips #00 screws used throughout the device, as well as a battery that can be removed without any tools. Though we're sure any adjustments will void your warranty, but it's cool Google opted for a more open hardware approach.

Head over to iFixit to see the full teardown of the Nexus 7 tablet.
