Google Confirms Arrival of Android Jelly Bean with New Statue

We can all stop wondering whether or not Google will unveil Android 4.1, codenamed Jelly Bean, at Google I/O 2012 tomorrow. A Google staffer today took to Google+ and posted the above photo of the Googleplex lawn featuring a new statue of a cup with jelly beans spilling out of it, all but confirming the new build will be announced tomorrow.

As you can tell from the other statues in the photo, Google installs a representational statue for each new Android build. There's one for Gingerbread, Froyo, Cupcake, and Eclair.

Google is expected to take the wraps off the next major Android build as well as debut the much rumored Nexus tablet, and maybe a new cloud service.
