Upgraded MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros, Ditches 17-inch model.

As expected, Apple refreshed its entire MacBook line. Both the Air and the Pros were treated to Intel's new Ivy Bridge processors, more ram, and larger storage options.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro gets Ivy Bridge quad-core i7 processors up to 2.7GHz, a 1GB GeForce GT 650M graphics card, a standard 8GB of memory, and USB 3.0/2.0 ports.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro gets all of that but a slightly faster processor, the 2.9 GHz dual-core Intel i7.

Pricing for both models remains the same.

The MacBook Air line received similar upgrades in the form larger storage options, faster graphics, faster processors, and a better camera.

Both the 11-inch and 13-inch models get the new Ivy Bridge processor architecture with i7 CPUs up to 2.0 GHz. The FaceTime camera has been upgraded to handle 720p output and recording, and high-speed data transferring will be handled by USB 3.0 ports. You can get them with solid-state drives up to 512 GB, and faster GeForce graphics cards.
