For those in the know, it's hard to believe that not everyone knows the meaning of the many, many acronyms used by tech companies to market their products. Yet, there's a large number of folks who have no idea what a dual-core processor is, or what 4G and LTE stand for. So you could imagine that, for them, watching a modern-day cell phone commercial is on par with tyring to decipher just the hell YC is saying on "Racks".
This weekend on Saturday Night Live, the cast used Verizon's LTE commercials to hilariously illustrate this point. Check it out above.

It actually points out the fact that there is no clear definition of what 4G is, and that companies just use "4G" to market their product.

Its a standard for data speeds. Of course Verizon is the only one to meet the speed standard. Check any website dedicated to wireless industry and Verizon is far and away the fastest and most reliable.
