The good folks at Dornbracht have done mankind a solid: They've reinvented the shower. The company's new Horizontal Shower literally flips showering conventions on their side, converting the whole experience into something luxurious, indulgent and, yes, lazy.
The shower features something called the Ambiance Tuning Technique, which allows the user to control the intensity, burst frequency and temperature of each of six shower heads. To use it you simply lie down on a custom, marble platform that juts out of the wall at 90 degree angle. From there you can reach over and control a row of dials.
Pricing and availability of the Horizontal Shower hasn't yet been announced, but we're guessing the cost could rival that of some whole houses. Hey, no one said horizontal showering would be cheap.
