The idea behind Indexhibit, a portmanteau of index and exhibit, was to, in the words of creator Daniel Eatock, allow "the content to come to the forefront and the navigation to be intuitive for all users." Therefore the web platform pushes the idea of simplicity. You have the option to start with one of Indexhibit's templates, but if you know a bit of HTML the platform can be pushed to create a really great portfolio (or exhibit).
