Everyone already knew Apple refused to support Adobe's Flash technology on its iPad models. So instead of pushing the company's trademark business- and communication-centric features in its last PlayBook commercial, all focus was placed on Adobe's multimedia platform. RIM soon realized the tablet's slow performance and weak battery life had been attributed to Flash integration, causing Adobe to end development on all tablets as of last month.
