It’s Official: Microsoft Has Killed Off The Zune

Though owning a Zune in this age of iPod dominance was akin to owning a mini-disc player in the earlier stages of iPod dominance, the device was revolutionary—albeit for a short amount of time—due to its next-gen UI and wi-fi-enabled music sharing.

But the iPod Touch more or less rendered the Zune obsolete and its been struggling since its inception.
