Cybercrime and Drug Trade About Equally Costly

All of the recent activity by Anonymous aren’t isolated incidents. In fact, according to Norton, 73% of all adults in the U.S. have experienced cybercrime, from viruses to spam. As a result, it generated a ridiculous $388 billion last year alone, including money lost due to cyber attacks and the resulting decline in productivity and the costs of protection and prevention measures.

Across gender lines—because trojans and viruses are the most common crimes—males experience a slight uptick in attacks—4%—most likely due to the fact we like porn sites more. Obviously.
