No one knows for sure why Carrot Top is famous. His prop-comedy sets are what nightmares are made of, and his '98 feature film debut, Chairman of the Board, was universally dismissed. Yet the marketing geniuses at AT&T thought it would be a great idea to make him the spokesperson for its 1-800-CALL-ATT commercials, which the ginger comedian milked dry.
