Man Shot and Killed During Apple Store Break-in Attempt

In San Diego today, two men and a woman broke into an Apple store through its glass windows in the early morning hours before it had opened. Confronted by a security guard, one would-be robber pulled out a firearm and a gun battle ensued. The two male robbers were shot, and all three suspects fled the store in a silver Acura. A short time later, police discoverd the car crashed in a nearby mall parking lot. One of the male robbers lay dead inside, struck down by his gun wound. The other man and the woman were found attempting to flee, arrested, and brought into custody. The Apple security guard was unharmed.
