Image editing, document creating and editing, music organization—if you want to do either of those things, there's an Internet-based cloud application that you can use, usually for free. Burn Studios wants to add another: beat creation.
With its new Audiotool, budding producers can produce electronic beats with a number of different virtual machines like synths, drum machines, keyboards. The app is free and only requires a Flash-enabled browser, an Internet connection, and the desire to make a beat.
The layout is straightforward—to make a combination of sounds, you just string the different machines to each other. It's not going to replace your Fruity Loops, but for a free, browser-based program, it's worth checking out.
