Charlie Sheen Sets New Twitter World Record

And Charlie Sheen keeps winning. Guinness World Record reported today that the Two and a Half Men star has set a new world record for the "Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Twitter Followers".

According to Guinness community manager, Dan Barrett, Sheen's Twitter account, @CharlieSheen, hit 1 million followers in just 25 hours and 17 minutes. The account, started by Charlie on March 1 amidst his crazy-ass press run, managed to get over 60,000 followers in a matter of minutes without the star sending one tweet. According to Ad Age, the account was able to be quickly verified thanks to a deal brokered by an Internet start-up called Ad.ly.

But this isn't Sheen's first Guinness World Record. He previously set the record for the "Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode—Current" for his $1.25 million-per-episode salary for CBS's Two and a Half Men.

#Winning.
