5 Things to Expect from the First iPad-Only Newspaper

2 - Multimedia Content... in 3-D

In the past two years, 3-D has stormed onto multiplexes, TVs, and videogames. According to rumors, The Daily now wants to bring it to newspapers. This feature may not be available at launch, but we can imagine a future filled with infographics and illustrations that jump off the page. As a mesmerized source raved to The Observer: "It is not quite possible to wrap your mind around the concept until you experience it. It's a bit as though you were standing in a space with the ability to slowly spin around and see everything in hi-def."

Other multimedia features will include embedded video, audio versions of stories that can be read aloud to you, a la Kindle and crossword and sudoku games.
