Internet Masseuse Slain by Med Student

Backstory: Phillip Haynes Markoff responded to a personals ad for a masseuse and received escort and aspiring model Julissa Brisman, who he shot dead in a plush Boston hotel room. Markoff was also suspected of two other robberies, all involving women and taking place days before and after Brisman's death. For a medical student, he sure wasn't that bright in organizing his operations.

Punishment: After being indicted by a grand jury for first-degree murder, Markoff took the coward's way out and committed suicide in Boston's Nashua Street Jail. Justice well served.
