Speaking at the 2010 Techonomy conference, Bill Gates let the crowd in on his vision of the future of higher education: The need for self-motivated young adults to attend a traditional university will gradually diminish. He believes students will be able to get all the knowledge they need from the 'Net. And he's not talking about the University of Phoenix. "Five years from now on the web for free you'll be able to find the best lectures in the world," he said. "It will be better than any single university." lol Bill Gates is a fool, kids don't goto college for an education they go for the experiences and the parties... that's something you will never be able to get on the internet of course someone like him will never be able to understand that

Sanjj, way to take things out of context. Was he talking about experiences? no, he was talking on the sole premise of eduction, and nothing else. Dont be a fool to confuse the two.

I am in full support of Bill Gates vision and i share his projections into the future.I my self believe that education is all about self discovery and subsequent aquisition of skills to that effect.
