OK, so it wasn't the paradigm-shifting product that Steve Jobs said would change our lives forever, but his tablet gave us a vision of what the future of computing may look like. Its amazingly clear screen coupled with its light and quick OS make it a pleasure to use. It's changed the way people think about browsing the web and made us rethink what exactly new media is supposed to accomplish. No, it's not the best gadget for creating works of art, but there's no better tool for devouring content. Hate on it all you want, you know you want one.
