Michael Shannon

Michael Corbett Shannon (born August 7, 1974) is an American stage, film, and television actor. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Revolutionary Road. As of 2010, he is a regular, portraying Nelson Van Alden on the critically acclaimed HBO series, Boardwalk Empire.
