Those in search of “the biggest Jibbitz ever created” may have met their match thanks to a soon-to-be-released collaboration from Crocs and Staple.
Indeed, in an on-the-foot look at the collaboration in action, Staple Design founder Jeff Staple touted the upcoming Pigeon Talons as the “biggest” of the Jibbitz.
“Sometimes you’re the statue,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. “Sometimes you’re the pigeon. With our upcoming collaboration with [Crocs]—YOU ARE ALWAYS THE PIGEON!” The designer and entrepreneur also shared another look at the collab pieces via a Stories update.
The pairing has also been teased elsewhere, including by the Crocs team, who touted the upcoming drop as “NYC to the core” when announcing that the new Sidewalk Luxe would officially be arriving on April 12.
Prospective buyers can expect additional updates on Staple x Crocs in the coming days, including via the designated site. In March, Jeff Staple’s limited edition drop with the New York Rangers—featuring shirts, jerseys, hoodies, and more—was named by Complex as being among the best style releases of the week. Adding to the limitedness of the experience was that pieces from the collection were only available to shop at that month’s New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins game at Madison Square Garden.
Meanwhile, in recent Crocs news, the ubiquitous clog company linked up with KG0516 artist Karol G earlier this year for two new signature silhouettes.
