Ace & Tate have teamed up with menswear label CMMN SWDN for a two-part sunglasses collaboration inspired by 90's rave and popular culture.
Consisting of three acetate and three metal frames, the collection draws inspiration from urban youth subculture, specifically the complexities surrounding coming of age.
The minimalist aesthetic that has proven so popular for Ace & Tate sits centre-forward, with frame names like 'Pris' and 'Neo' being directly inspired by Bladerunner and The Matrix.
Keeping in line with 90's rave culture, each pair of sunglasses within the collection comes complete with a sportswear-inspired bum bag case.
CMMN SWDN comments: “The glasses are extending upon the theme of our recent collection of retro-futurism. The slim and proportioned sunglasses hint at sci-fi movies of the past but are designed for now”.
The first part of the collection will be available from April 26th via Ace & Tate, CMMN SWDN, and select stockists globally.
