Grailed 100 is back.
Next week, the cult menswear marketplace will launch its third annual archival sale for Fall/Winter 2018. This year’s offering will present a curated collection of 100 highly coveted pieces from labels and brands like Supreme, Helmut Lang, Raf Simons, Maison Margiela, Rick Owens, Undercover, and much more. It’s the perfect opportunity for die-hard fashion fans to get their hands on rare, previously loved garments and accessories at relatively decent prices.
The Grailed Fall/Winter 2018 will be available Jan. 30 online. To promote the event, the site has unveiled its first live-action lookbook produced in collaboration with MPC Creative. You can check it out above.
Grailed launched in 2013 as a resell destination for menswear and streetwear enthusiasts around the world. Building off the peer-to-peer model, the Grailed team has evolved the site into a full-fledged community complete with editorials, interviews, style-related news reports, as well as a platform where like-minded individuals can engage. The community aspect not only increases site visits, it also increases the level of trust among users.
“People are on Grailed because they care,” Grailed founder Arun Gupta told Complex shortly after the inaugural Grailed 100. “When you look at someone’s profile now, it’s just items they’re selling and their user name. It’s very functional. But, we could have your last four IG posts or some great ‘fit pics. You could tell us what brands you’re looking for. That helps with trust.”
