Yeezy Season 6 had an unconventional roll out. Rather than showcase the range in an elaborate fashion week runway show, Kanye West decided to reveal the collection using one of the most popular platforms on the web: Kim Kardashian’s social media accounts.
Throughout Monday, Mrs.Kardashian West tweeted a series of paparazzi photos in which she was rocking pieces from Yeezy 6. The looks were styled by CR Fashion Book founder Carine Roitfield and were photographed at various locations in Calabasas, including a convenience store, a gas station, a coffee shop, and a storage unit. Again, this wasn’t the most traditional collection presentation, but it did get a lot of attention.
Shortly after Kim posted the looks, Yeezy Season 6 dropped online. Available pieces include French terry sweatpants, jersey leggings, military coats, half-zip henleys, and a crew neck dress. The bulk of the collection is womenswear, but there are a few items for the guys, including hoodies, shorts, and headwear.
You can check out the full collection at Yeezysupply.com. The pieces are available for pre-order now, and are expected to ship on March 1.
