PUMA and Daily Paper continue their ongoing partnership, as they celebrate African football for their AW17 collection.
For the collection launch, the two brands put funds towards the development of football in Ghana, in collaboration with Right to Play. PUMA has been a partner of the Ghana Football Association since 2005, with the country also being the motherland of one of the Daily Paper founders.
A brand new football pitch was built on what was once a dumping ground at Accra Senior Girls School, Ghana. PUMA documented the project and released a short film that captured the journey, culminating in a match between the Accra Girls FC vs Nima FC.
The collection takes inspiration from archive African football kits, including a range of apparel and footwear, and is now available at ASOS, Hanon, and 5Pointz.
