Element Join Forces with Griffin Studio for the Black Sky Project

For their latest drop, Element have linked up with British brand Griffin Studio for a capsule built around key technical jackets, bags and footwear.

For their latest drop, Element have linked up with British brand Griffin Studio for a capsule built around key technical jackets, bags and footwear. The resulting collaboration is the Black Sky Project, and includes jackets, reinterpreted backpacks and a new footwear style. The jackets are built for the outdoors, with three different colour options and include features like new lamination, down filling, ergonomic sleeves, and waterproof zippers. One piece from the collection, the Black Sky Sleeping Bag Coat, combines a heavy duty padded down coat with a zipped sleeping bag, showing how important the outdoor influence of both brands has been to this collab.

The Black Sky Project builds on the reputations of the two brands, mixing functional outdoor design with urban versatility. Griffin’s history of high quality outerwear that fuses sportswear, high fashion and military influences is combined with Element’s long track record of skatewear and outdoor influenced collections. The collab’s key feature is Element’s ‘Authentech’ technology, which gives the items a semi-permeable membrane, special lamination or an internal insulation system.
