On the heels of his Spring/Summer 2017 presentation at Pitti Uomo this week, Raf Simons has unveiled his eponymous label’s latest campaign. And if the visuals seem familiar to you, it’s because the Belgian designer enlisted his go-to team to assist in the project.
The Fall/Winter 2016 visuals were shot by Willy Vanderperre, Simons’ longtime friend and collaborator of over 20 years. Just like previous seasons, the photographer has presented the upcoming collection through his unique and signature style. We see a heavy use of portraits and landscapes throughout the campaign, which are simultaneously creepy and youthful. Model Luca Lemaire has also returned for the new project, as he’s seen in grassy fields and on stone roads wearing items like oversized varsity jackets, billowing topcoats, button-downs, and trousers. Unsurprisingly, Simons also reunited with Olivier Rizzo to style the shoot.
