Joey Bada$$ has some pretty big aspirations for his brand Pro Era. In a recent interview with Vogue, the rapper said he hopes the clothing line born out of his Brooklyn-based collective will grow to be as big as Supreme.

“There are so many different avenues to being an artist, and I am trying to be dominant in all of them," Joey told Vogue. "I’m trying to take over all paths."

Obviously, reaching the same level as the streetwear behemoth would be an impressive feat for anyone, but since several other brands started by rappers are thriving in the fashion world, it makes sense that Joey would want to do the same with Pro Era. It doesn't hurt that the brand got a co-sign from Malia Obama, either, which launched a White House investigation last year.

“It caused so much drama and shit, but it made me feel like, ‘Wow! Tonight or in the near future, I was talked about in the White House,’” Joey said to Vogue. “I don’t really know too much about [how she got the T-shirt], but Malia is definitely woke!”

Joey has had his share of personal success in the fashion industry, most recently he was featured in Calvin Klein's spring campaign alongside other artists like Fetty Wap and Kendrick Lamar.
