It looks like Jaden Smith just dropped some new gear under his clothing line MSFTSrep. The 17-year-old took to social media last night to share images of new T-shirts, before also sharing a new song with Kid Cudi.
Smith's new tees feature philosopher Martin Luther's face. Smith previously said that he wanted his T-shirts to look like "a mixture of Basquiat’s and Einstein’s personal notebooks." That explains the hand-drawn look of the shapes and teeth added to Martin's image.
In true Smith fashion, the teen multi-hyphenate posted a series of very interesting Instagram photos showcasing the new Martin Luther T-shirts. The images show one of the tees nailed to a wood door, which he explains in the caption, "We nailed it to this metaphorical church door to say you can be a modern day Martin Luther. So before you wear this T-shirt, know that you are a walking symbol for this Movement Of Truth. The revolution starts now. Welcome."
If you happen to be unfamiliar with Luther's work, Smith offers a pretty extensive caption alongside another photo of the tee explaining his life. "Martin Luther is A MSFT," he writes. "He saw a flaw in the system and he exposed it, which gave power to the people. He stood for the truth."
In the past, Jaden Smith has referred to himself as a "modern-day prophet," and even said that he was working on his own philosophy book, so it makes sense that he would plaster Luther's face on his new tees.
