When it comes to backpacks and accessories Herschel are pretty much on top of the mountain. The Canadian heritage brand has been a mainstay in streetwear fashion and culture and they’re looking to extend that dominance with the ApexKnit collection.
The ApexKnit is the brand’s first signature fabric, using high-tensile yarn and minimal construction seams, which results in zero limitations, therefore making way for endless possibilities. The new trademark fabric will debut on two backpacks—the Dayton and Lawson—and a pouch bag named the Network. The unique woven technology seamlessly blends design and innovation, function and utility—resulting in accessory products that are truly one of a kind.
Featured in a vessel grey colourway, the durable and tactile ApexKnit fabric is applied to the newly-designed Dayton and shapely Lawson backpacks and the adaptable Network pouch. By carefully planning the yarn density and pull strength, a slight stretch is realised without compromising the intended shape of each individual piece.
