This weekend, Dover Street Market London will officially open the doors to its new Haymarket location, a space that was previously occupied by Burberry for nearly 100 years.
In celebration of the move, DSML has linked up with the luxury fashion house for a special installation that will go on display tomorrow, during the store’s grand opening.
The project will feature mirrored puddles and paper clouds, as well as 20 restored Burberry coats, which are known to combat almost any weather condition. But that’s not all: DSM’s Rei Kawakubo will also reinterpret various Burberry outerwear designs for an upcoming release. Though there aren’t many details on the collection at this time, we do know it’ll drop exclusively at DSML later this year. So stay tuned for that.
