UPDATE (1/12/16, 7:30 p.m.): We now know the significance of the Feb. 10 date.

According to a Saint Laurent press release, the storied Parisian house will present part 1 of its Fall/Winter 2016 collections on Feb. 10 in Los Angeles.

The event will show the men’s collection and "Part I" of women’s collection, and will take place at the Palladium—a famed concert venue located at 6215 Sunset Blvd. The show marks the second project creative director Hedi Slimane has hosted in L.A., following his “California Song” exhibit at the L.A. Museum of Contemporary Art back in 2011.

Part 2 of the Fall/Winter 2016 women's collection will be shown during Paris Fashion Week in March.

Yves Saint Laurent fans rejoice, the brand has finally joined Instagram.

Since the official account made its debut three days ago with a video of palm trees, the account has already attracted 195,000 followers. The fashion house has been using the platform to share a series of black and white clips shot by its creative director Hedi Slimane. The "music portrait" videos feature Los Angeles-based artists Ariel Pink, Kim and the Created, and Zoe Reign dancing around in pieces made by the brand.

Each caption also points a mystery event taking place in Los Angeles on February 10th. No official details regarding what that may be have been shared just yet, but stay tuned.
