Young Thug recently sat down with Sway Calloway to discuss his personal style. The rapper not only touched on his unique style when it comes to music, but also his forward-thinking approach towards fashion and the people who don't quite get it.
Early in the interview, the radio host admits that it took him 35 minutes to pick out his best hoodie for Thugger's first-ever visit to the studio. Young Thug shares that it didn't take him nearly as long, only about five minutes, since he has at least six women helping him get dressed. When asked to describe his style, he replies that its "impeccable" and "self-centered," explaining that simple-minded people (which he calls turds and peasants) don't understand.
Sway also asks about Thug's tendency to wear dresses, a sartorial choice that has made a lot of headlines. The rapper says it could just be "the coke bottles" (his term for women) rubbing off on him. He also admits that he has always had a weird dress code even as a kid.
