Music and fashion often go hand-in-hand so this collaboration between Danish designer Astrid Andersen and French DJ Brodinski should come as no surprise. The menswear designer has previously enlisted A$AP Ferg on a short film for her Spring 2016 collection and can now add a runway soundtrack by one of the industry's most promising DJs to her list.

Featuring cuts from a variety of artists ranging from Maelstrom to Bricc Baby, the playlist is a combination of both Andersen’s and Brodinski’s tastes. “We have an affinity, and a musical taste in common – from Janet Jackson to Sister City and Suicideyear – which is the most important thing on these projects,” Brodinski told Red Bull Catwalk Studios.

With Brodinski handling the music, Andersen focused on the fashion. The collection stayed true to the brand’s trademark ability to blur the conventional and the contemporary. This season saw an emphasis on next-level fabric, featuring quilted nylons and technical fine-gauge blends to new-age denims and luxe wools.
