I fucking love ripple soles. They’re one of my preferred sole genres. I can’t really explain why I like them, I just do. I don't know if I've ever seen a piece of footwear that legitimately scared me like these Viberg service boots do. They're scary in a good way. One time someone asked me, “Jon, why do you ripple soles on old-ass boots but not those Rick Springblade things? Aren’t those just a slightly different ripple sole too?” While this person did have a bit of a point, I ignored the salient facts contained within their question and replied, “Fuck you man, them Springblades are gross.” That right there is how you have an intelligent, civil discussion on sartorial matters.
