Unis teamed up with Common Projects to make some custom Achilles Lows. For Unis’s 15th anniversary they decided to flip the classic Stan Smith by putting the green accents inside the sneaker. It’s a nice and subtle move and I endorse it. I love details that most no one else will ever notice. I used to think it’s because I dressed for myself and not the approval of others because that my taste was just that elevated. But then I realized it’s because I figured ou that even if I wanted other people to notice my amazing taste, they won’t. No one notices anything anymore. Flexing is a futile endeavor. We are all just Sisyphus, pushing our four-hundred-thirty-five dollar minimal sneakers up a shitty mountain.
