When news hit that Fear of God would be bringing a taste of its high-end street-grunge gear to PacSun, there were people excited to get their hands on an affordable version of clothes they couldn't get their hands on and people who were more inclined to cite the downfall of Been Trill after it worked with PacSun. Well, the first look at the upcoming F.O.G. collection is here so you can start making your official judgments.

Jerry differentiates F.O.G. from mainline Fear of God as a more youthful take on the brand (with a much more accessible price point). For all intents and purposes, it's a pretty strong rendition of the collection we all know, brought down to a level for the people who can't afford mainline Fear Of God without totally diluting the brand. Plaid flannel shirts, bombers with cinched sleeves, field jackets, long drawstrings, shorts layered over pants, zippers at the ankles of pants and hoodies are all here. Of course, we'll have to get up close to really see just how well it translates, but the lookbook gives off some pretty solid vibes. It makes you wonder how people would have reacted if word about it being a PacSun collaboration hadn't surfaced right away. For the most part though, the people who were fiending for Fear Of God without hope to ever actually afford it should be pretty happy with what they see here.

The collection releases on December 11th with another drop coming after Christmas and a capsule coming in 2016 as well.
