Band Of Outsiders Is Coming Back On Black Friday

None

Band of Outsiders' precipitous fall from grace this summer shocked quite a few people. After shutting its doors, the brand auctioned off remaining stock and intellectual property to the highest bidder—a Belgian fashion fund named CCLA became the eventual owner of everything of BoO that remained. There hasn't been a ton of news about what's going to happen with the brand until now. WWD reports that off-price retailer Filene's Basement will have more than 2,000 Band of Outsiders pieces for both men and women for sale starting on Black Friday, November 27th.

All the merchandise will start at 50% off and will be reduced another 25% through November 30th, Cyber Monday. A spokesperson for Filene's Basement told WWD that the stock is essentially all the remaining inventory from BoO's New York flagship and a "mix of seasons and collections." Apparently, Filene's got its hands on the gear after CCLA failed to sell off the brand's intellectual property. Don't rule out the possibility of the brand returning in some form yet, though it seems like a long shot.

Anyway, that doesn't matter right now. For anyone who was a fan of the brand, the sale, which will be online for everyone to take part in, is one last chance to track down some pieces that got away or a few mementos to remember it by. So add this to the long list of Black Friday sales to shop this season.
