When dealing with a truly global even like Fashion Week, wires get crossed, dates get mixed up and working with others becomes a total fucking nightmare that everyone can relate to. With the succession of men's fashion weeks from London to Milan to Paris and New York, shit has to line up so the people running this marathon have a slightly less difficult task. On that note, NYFW: Men's had to be shuffled around since it is the finish line. Originally, the fairly green NYFW: Men's, which is only on its second season of existence, was scheduled from January 28-31, but with Paris Fashion Week ending on the 30th, the new dates for the New York menswear shows have been set for February 1-4, 2016 according to WWD. Yes, we're already talking about 2016. I feel like I'm from the future.

We're also getting a location migration after one season at Skylight Clarkson Sq. Fortunately, it's just down the block to Skylight Clarkson North. The North location is apparently slightly bigger, has windows (!) and a loft-like feel. If you know anyone that attended the first go around or maybe hit it up yourself, one major complaint was the lack of any natural light whatsoever. At times, Skylight Clarkson Sq. felt sort of like a convention center in the worst possible way. The same sponsors—Shinola, Amazon Fashion, Cadillac and Dockers—are all back for the sequel, as is roughly the same amount of shows: approximately 51. Please don't die from excitement.
