After 20 years as a top destination to shop some of the coolest brands in contemporary menswear, Virginia-based Need Supply Co. is finally expanding. The creative director Gabriel Ricioppo and fashion director Krystle Kemp behind the retailer, have decided to setup shop overseas. The store will be opening two locations in Japan.

The new space will house obscure Scandinavian and Japanese brands. An additional Japanese-produced line called NSCO will also be available in-store and online after the opening. In an attempt to push the boundaries of a traditional boutique, the Tokyo location will house an Italian restaurant called Trattoria Babbo on the first floor.

Need Supply Co. also plans to open additional locations in the U.S.

The Japanese stores are set to open in Shibuya on Oct. 10. and in Kumamoto on Nov. 28.
