One of the biggest highlights of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards didn’t actually take place on stage. It occurred during the red carpet pre-show when Olivier Rousteing dropped some epic news: Balmain would be the latest luxury label to collaborate with H&M.
Needless to say, people were hyped.
Now, with less than a month until the collection’s release, we have a full look at the menswear side of the collaboration. And it’s typical Balmain. Embroidery, gold hardware, tailored fits, and strong dose of streetwear influence are all delivered in the range, which is comprised of fall-ready essentials like double-breasted outerwear, sleek blazers, leather jackets, pullover hoodies, and tees. The collection also offers a selection of footwear—two boot options and a high tops sneaker—as well as a murdered-out backpack, a knit beanie, and sunglasses.
“This Balmain collection for H&M is everything I love about menswear,” Rousteing said in a press release. “It is sharp, rich in detail and full of effortless attitude. It’s for all the men in the H&M Balmain Nation, no matter who they are or where they are from.”
