Amanda Bynes isn’t abandoning her dreams of working in fashion.
According to a report by People magazine, the 29-year-old actress has re-enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, the same school she was reportedly kicked out of in 2014. Though sources initially said Bynes had been removed from FIDM for “horrendous arguments” with professors, constantly ditching class, and showing up stoned, a close source now says that wasn’t the case.
“She had plans to finish school, but she had a few [skin] procedures done and didn’t want to be in public at FIDM,” hairstylist Lindsey White told People.
Bynes returned to campus last Thursday and is currently taking a sketch class. She has personal security to accompany her around campus, and is said to be “doing great” so far.
Let's just hope she stays on this path and doesn't return to her old, bizarre antics. Like allegedly giving Cartier jewelry to her professors and complete strangers.
