When news broke of Style Dot Com shutting down, we found out that it would essentially port over to the now launched Vogue Runway. But the big question on our mind was: "What's going to happen to Tommy Ton and his signature street style?" We figured that the Michael Jordan of street style would make his money doing campaign shoots and we'd effectively no longer see him outside the doors at fashion weeks. Fortunately, we don't have to live with such a terrible reality. Tommy Ton himself tells The Business of Fashion that there will be both new and archived street style on his new website, TommyTon.com, which launched today.

The site features over 15,000 photographs from the last decade or so of Tommy's work and is even searchable by brand, color and subject, like Nick Wooster or Josh Peskowitz for example. If you're ever in search of some much needed inspo, Tommy even plans on expanding his scope to interviews, video, backstage photos and other original content soon, all thanks to the various connections he has built over his storied career. He'll be at all the major fashion weeks this fall, shooting independently, which he says will help him focus on the things he really likes rather than worrying about how shots look online. If there's anyone that deserves to graduate to this level of creative freedom and success, it's surely our beloved Tommy. You can bet your ass we'll be checking TommyTon.com regularly. Add that shit to your bookmarks asap.
