FUCK, this EG Mackinaw coat was definitely designed with me in mind. Definitely just me. First, I'm from Michigan and Michigan has a city called Mackinac. Second, it's made with ripstop and, like I've said roughly 1738 times, ripstop is the official fabric of Yahweh. Third, I've been reading a lot of historical fiction and historical non-fiction about North America in the late 18th and early 19th centuries and I feel like this is a type of coat I would totally wear if I were a fur trapper or explorer just running around shooting things and looking dope wearing moccasins and buckskin pants and carrying a big ass rifle and paddling canoes and shit. It'll be weird when I actually buy and wear this coat and all I do is twirl in front of the mirror. I feel like 18th century trappers didn't spend a lot of their mornings twirling in front of mirrors while "Diamonds Dancing" blares in the background. But I'm no historian.
