Advanced Style was originally a blog that featured the stylistic leaning of the geriatric set primarily focused on glamorous and stylish old women. Then, it became a documentary last year because older women are inherently stylish and no one in their right mind would argue against that point. Thankfully, Nowness wanted to shine the light onto older men as well, approaching the Advanced Style crew to put together a short film highlighting five older men with an insatiable passion for fashion and personal flair. And. It. Is. Fucking. Awesome.
The breadth of taste here is straight up tremendous, from a nautically inspired look to a madras plaid-heavy get-up to an almost royal pirate fit. That's true confidence, flossing like a goddamn sea captain in broad daylight. There's basically everything you could ever imagine here and you even get to hear these legends talk about their own personal style tips that older guys should use if they want to keep up with the already balling fairer sex. The choice is yours: Either die young like a tragic hero and ascend to cult following status or grow old and kill shit for the better part of a century. I don't know about you, but I prefer the latter.
